Can’t take to Selby at all. He’s very skilled but just find him boring to watch. Dunno what it is about but just doesn’t do it for me.

Thought Anthony Yarde was very good tonight. Great shot select, throws big punches and got really good footwork. Hopefully they can make the Buglioni fight for him.
 
Selby has been awful tonight, don't know what's wrong with him.


Looking forward to De Gale, probably the most talented in his division and must be regretting not being part of the super series

He’s so talented but his fights seem to just drag on and on. Always a slow pace of fighting and just can’t take to him. He needs to cut out the showboating he does and just stick to boxing. For me he tries to much to show how talented he is, instead of just sticking to his boxing.

Saying that, hope he beats Josh Warrington though.

It's not his first below par performance he's had, I think he knows of his inconsistencies when he says his best beats a lot of fighters.

I think he could beat Warrington below par but I wouldn't be so sure against a Frampton or Santa Cruz.

Pretty sure he beats Warrington no matter how he performs. Have we ever seen Selby at his best? Always seems average to me but can see the talent and ability there. I think Frampton would struggle with him early but would find a way to get to him. Santa Cruz would beat him with ease imo.

I'll wait for the Warrington fight before calling the Frampton one, Santa Cruz is all wrong for him.

Reckon Russell junior would be the hardest option if he goes for a unification.

Santa Cruz would break him down and stop him. Gary Russell would be a good match up. Very hard fight for both of them. Good match up of styles.

Degale first fight back on home soil in 3 years and feels like he’s on an undercard. If Bt are to be real contenders to sky they seriously need to up the productions. If this was a sky card it would have you make it was a bigger fight than what it is.

It's really just a box nation production and it's crap, their promotion of Loma and Rigo has been awful too, no build up shows, barely a mention on the boxing hour, just poor.

Still, fair few bells on sky's team so I'm not overly bothered.

Totally agree with you. Surprised BT/boxnation haven’t snapped up Glenn McCrory for commentary. Johnny Nelson gets on my nerves from Sky. His whole goofy joke style irratates me.


Rigondeux vs Lomachenko is the best fight of the year for me. Both excellent fighters who are master of their crafts. Really cannot wait to watch it in the morning. I forgot it was happening til about two weeks ago, just seen no advertisement myself. Love watching the both of them but think Lomachenko will be to big for Rigondeux. It’s at super featherweight right? If it was at feather would give Rigondeux more of a chance but think with his body frame and his style. It’s a big step up for him.

Turned into a good fight this with DeGale.
 
Can't see the loma riot fight on my sky planner is it just box nation subscribers or is it for us BT sport plebs as well?


De Gale is struggling badly here, hasn't thrown a meaningful jab all fight I think that shoulder injury has done for him at the top level.

I agree totally about Selby, really boring, not sure he's ever had an exciting fight. DeGale in real trouble here like.
