Boxing

Any heavyweight who can dig and take AJ passed 6 rounds has a chance against him. The Fury that beat Vlad would absolutely tie him up in knots no question.

He should be putting Takem away with ease even if he was half the boxer people claim he is. He couldn't even hurt him and Povetkin did amd he's a lot smaller. He's a lucky man Fury and Povetkin arent around at the minute.

Don’t forget that for 10 weeks Joshua was sparring against larger men than Takam. His game plan would of been for much larger men than Takam, by using his jab for higher men, working on angles , for it to change 12 days before a fight would of had an affect on his style. People saying well Povetkin stopped Takam, but was he on the juice for that fight? Joshua would dismantle Povetkin.
Takam is like 8inches smaller than Pulev ain’t he?

His biggest test would be Fury, but people are going off the Fury that beat Wladimer, let’s not get carried away here, but prior to that Klitschko fight, Fury hadn’t looked great. He lost that first fight to John McDermott but somehow got a decision and a shocking decision. Think they had given it 8-2 in favour or Fury. McDermott was all over him, Fury hardly landed in that fight and was looking for the clinch. He punched himself in the face and got dropped by a cruiserweight in Steve Cunningham.

Joshua is at a crossroad in his career now. If he doesn’t knock people out or completley dominate his oppenants people are gonna be questioning him. Last night he was in complete control of that fight, yeah he looked like he was out of breath, but damaging your nose early on could of had a play on that. But he was still on control and wasn’t in any danger. Joshua had 20 fights but he’s not got the experience yet and he can only improve. Instead of rushing him into fights against Wilder and Parker, let him fight fighters who will take him to later rounds and make him dig deep. Joshua will have a fall off on his career similar to Tyson.

Wilder is utterly raw, but he has power that even Joshua doesn't have. And the stat you have is nonsense. He has beat Stiverne and Liakovach (who was a world champion).

Take away the 40 year old Klitchsko who hadn't fought for 2 years, and Joshua has literaly fought nobody. Not all his fault, as there is nobody in the Heavyweight division

Liakovich was absolutely no where near the top 10 when Wilder fought him at 37 years of age after 5 fights in 7 years.

The stat is correct.

You'd have to be naive or stupid to believe that AJ doesn't juice. In the year after the Olympics he put on nearly 3 stone of muscle, and since turning pro he's put on another 2 stone of muscle. Povetkin is just stupid enough to get caught.

I'm not sure what happened to Furybin his 8th fight as a pro has to to with anything if I'm honest mate, and he beat him easy enough in the rematch. And any one can get dropped in this division but unlike everyone else he got up and recovered from it very quickly.

And apprently Matchroom knew iver a month ago Pulev was out injured but kept it quiet as long as possible to prevent a backlash abiut tickets and ppv. Hearn said himself Takem was in camp for 8-10 weeks iirc.

Povetkin has been busted more than once and even when on the juice he isn’t very good. I very much doubt Joshua is on anything! The whole way he’s been promoted etc, if he was to get caught it would be over.

What I’m trying to say about Fury is that since the Wladimir fight he’s been made out to be this all time great. That he would beat AJ off that one performance. He’s struggled in fights against poorer opposition. Fury is just as vulnerable as AJ been hit, he gets into a dog fight and he can look below average. He can also be gassing during a fight. Fury against Chisora 1, yeah he won with ease but he was blowing out of his backside from the 4th round, and that was by jabbing and moving. Yeah, alright he beat with ease in the rematch, but he also lost the first fight with ease imo and many other people’s opinion. That’s what makes that fight exciting.

Takam was on training due to him fighting next week on Matchrooms Monaco show anyways.

I'm still pretty drunk, but I doubt he fought in the super heavyweight division at 13 stone

I can see this all going round in circles so I'm just going to respond to the parts highlighted as I belive you're incredibly naive.

You believe Hearn over the Monaco card? Wow! I don't recall ever seeing his name on any card or promotions and it was all announced over a month ago. So if rue, theyr must of known long before 12 days before last nights fight that Takem wasnt going to be be on it because he was fighting AJ instead.

As for the AJ part, I bet people said the same about Lance Armstrong. I believe testing is a lot more controlled in cycling and most boxers only get tested when in camp. Plenty of time for him to put on incredible amount of muscle in a relatively short space of time.

I don’t see Aj been on the juice imo. I don’t see why he would need too! With him been a black man and most black sport stars have better looking athletic bodies to make them look a lot more physical. Plus he’s coming into his prime of physical attributes now too. Surely if he was on something, he would take something that would help his stamina. Just a different of opinions.

I couldn’t say if he was on the card but just going off what Hearn was saying.

You mentioned about cycling there, the is a documentary on Netflix called Icarus all about PEDs in cycling. It’s worth a watch, if you haven’t already seen it. Funnily enough the documentary maker, started taking PEDs and done worse off in a tournement the year after taking them,if I remember correctly.

.
Doubt anything would be over tbh - don't think fight fans are bothered by PED use, particularly at his level. There would be some embarrassment but nothing that couldn't be bullshitted away and everyone would still be demanding to see his next big fight.

Like, if someone posted about remembering how good Roy Jones was then no one, and I mean no one, would be saying yeah, but he did fail that drugs test for anabolic steroids didn't he? It just doesn't register. Or Tyson Fury failing a test for nandrolone - ISTM that the vast, overwhelming sentiment is NOT that this cheat needs to be banned from boxing for a very long time, it's more along the lines of isn't it a shame that Tyson's out of shape at the moment, he could really ask AJ some questions.
