Boxing

Joshua is completely manufactured, everything he says is stuff his PR team have wrote for him. He might actually be a sound guy but Sky and the Hearns are desperate to paint him as some sort of superhero that kids idolise and women drool over. It's cringey in the extreme.

Fury has more natural charisma than anybody else in boxing at the moment and has proven countless times that he'll say or do anything to get a reaction. It would be hilarious seeing him getting stuck into AJ at a press conference in front of the media.

Let's hope they get it on.

I agree though, AJ is in danger of making himself as interesting as watching paint dry.

I don't get it. His clean cut Olympic champion who loves to do a bit of charity work image isn't exactly going to be drawing in your armchair fans who love a bit of drama is it?

I don't see the angle for his management team trying to portray this image. If anything it might breed a desire to see him knocked down off his peg a bit.

Fury is an idiot. Absolute scumbag of the highest order.

To many kids he will be some kind of superhero, and women will drool over him. No need to paint that image when it's already the reality.

With the row Looks like bellew and wilder might be a possibility !
Bellew has been on 5live for about an hour.
Brilliant start to the show if you can find it online.
Dead funny stuff.
Even funnier how he's sat with Troy Deeney and the first thing he mentions is him scoring on Monday against the RS and not the big fight tomorrow.

Well this pre fight press conference isn't doing anything to sell it to me.

Talk about dull.

I was thinking it was quite refreshing not to have all the chat. Usually that happens and it ends in a boring fight, (granted except the Haye v Bellew one) let's hope they save the fireworks for the ring.

You just don't need the pushing and trash talk when the two top fighters get in the ring together, the fight sells itself.
