Boxing

Well this pre fight press conference isn't doing anything to sell it to me.

Talk about dull.

Both generally quite respectful blokes and certainly both respectful of each other .

I think people underestimate how much the likes of Bellew and Haye sell a fight , the pair of them in particular are really good and Haye has always been exceptional at it. Then there is Fury and the freak show.

heavyweight fights are usually slow and boring.much better fights down the divisions.
Its all about waiting for the opportunity for that one punch in the heavier weights. Usually if there is no knockout then the fight has been 6 or 12 rounds of jabbing and dancing around each other with both fighters being cautious.

At least at the lower weight classes you will see more punches thrown and more punches landing which makes for a more interesting spectacle.

The Wlad and Fury fight was a bit like that with both fighters playing it cautious.

I'm really curious to see how Wlad fights this bout. Not sure I'm willing to call it either way right now as I do feel an awful lot of the Joshua talk at this point is hype but at the same time Wlad doesn't look to be as good as he was.

That's why I laugh at those who get genuinely agitated at the Eubanks - they are doing what they do for a reason.

Ya exactly.looking at the likes of chocolito in the lower divison where every fight is a cracker with shedloads of punches sn combos thrown an he will never get near the money some of these heavyweights make for walking around for 12 rounds.

I love watching some of the rapid fire style featherweight bouts. There were some really entertaining fighters in the lower weight classes during the 2000s when there was a bit of a quality heavyweight drought.

Joshua v Fury would be good.

Fury might just get the seemingly unflappable Joshua flapping.

Joshua is completely manufactured, everything he says is stuff his PR team have wrote for him. He might actually be a sound guy but Sky and the Hearns are desperate to paint him as some sort of superhero that kids idolise and women drool over. It's cringey in the extreme.

Fury has more natural charisma than anybody else in boxing at the moment and has proven countless times that he'll say or do anything to get a reaction. It would be hilarious seeing him getting stuck into AJ at a press conference in front of the media.
