Boxing

Great post this, really agree with it.

I think as well it will take a couple of years to appreciate how good a performance it was against Dylan Whyte, who will go on to have a decent career himself (he'd beat Parker).

If he tags Klitschko early and really painfully, he's in the clear air above the mountains; he's essentially the de facto best in the division outside of the States (and this from a Fury fan but I'm taking it as him retired) and he's all set up for the monster Wilder fight.

Think he'll ruin Wilder too.
IMO it's the David Haye fight that is his biggest test. Bit weird to say, I know, but Haye is a great boxer and will go to knock him out. Wilder will too don't get me wrong, but he's so erratic that I can see AJ just nuking him like he did Molina and will do Klitchko.
AJ v Fury would be another great fight although again one which AJ would inevitably win. He'd just walk through Fury's punches.

I love golovkin but I don't think he ruins him . Canelo is tough as they come and built like a bull . I reckon golovkin wins but it won't be easy by any stretch

I beg to differ. I honestly think Canelo would be too strong...I wouldn't put money on it though...

Ey lads/ladies...absolutely all about the opinions - wasn't meaning to sound matter-of-fact.
I just think GGG does the eastern European thing of jabbing into oblivion which keeps Canelo off him. Canelo would try and get close inevitably but can't see it being sustained to cause GGG enough grief. I may be wrong though of course!
GGG v Ward - now that's a fight i would love. What about you both?

I wasn't being funny mate I just thinks it's a close fight.

I can't see the Ward fight happening he's at light heavy now. If it did then Ward all day

Yeah absolutely. I haven't really got a favourite as I think they're both boss. I wouldn't be surprised if it went either way but just think Canelo has got something a bit extra. Like I say though...I'd hate to bet on it.

Yeah, Ward and Golovkin would be very interesting indeed.

I agree with that, Canelo is at his best when he has somebody infront of him, as good as GGG is he is easy to hit and I think Canelo would take a lot out of him especially to the body, Golovkin would probably break him down but it'd be a great fight.

Was at MSG last night for the hockey, was tempted for the tour but everything seemed to be replicas, like Marciano's shorts etc were in frames but they admitted they weren't legit.

Might as well have a pair of Slazenger bills up there because they have as much relevance as the replicas to Rocky Marcagiano
