There will be a hell of a lot of money on the table for that fight. Not that either of them should need it. But it’s boxing so I still think there is a reasonable chance. Especially if Usyk retires after 2026 and there are free titles about.

Saying that Itauma should be in the title mix by then and I don’t think that’s a fight either of them would want.

Dave Allen is a thoroughly decent lad but failed at winning a commonwealth title a couple of times , he’d despatch Paul in a round or two surely so Joshua has to finish him quickly .

If AJ wants to retain his legacy and potentially fight going forward then he needs to put Paul away and quickly

Well in which case the fight isn’t straight is it so the point people make is fair . If the fight is honest AJ destroys him and quickly , if it’s not well who knows.

AJ usually fights at around 250 I think so not a huge cut for him to make. Jake Paul never been more than about 220 which was against Tyson in that farce of a “fight”.
