Had it 6-4 Mayer, personally. Don’t think it was a robbery on the scale we’ve seen all too often in recent times, but anywhere other than Liverpool and I reckon she drops them belts.

Natasha Jonas has been given the victory by split decision.

The Liverpudlian retains her IBF welterweight title.

Hmmm...

It looked like Mikaela Mayer had done enough after a slow start but two of the judges thought otherwise.

Mayer was favoured 97-93 on one card but the other two had it 96-94 96-95 for Jonas.
