To be honest, I gave the thread this title based on the assumption we'd be looking for someone in the Witsel mould, which my best description of is 'box-to-box'. Why don't you name some proper ones and educate the masses?

Anyone out of Strootman, Carvalho and Schneiderlin will do. We need a top CM.

Carvalho is a holding mid and wouldnt get forward. Gueye will be doing that role so i would think we need something like Rakitic for barca, obviously not that high quality but that kind of play who get between defence and attack
