Match Thread Bournemouth v Everton. Tue Dec 2. 7.30

I want to see Ndiaye be a threat and I think we need to move Garner back right back to give the midfield a chance to find another passing lane plus give us more balance.

I thought Grealish was excellent unlocking Newcastle but we never got him on the ball enough.

Dibling needs game time and away to Bournemouth is a great chance given that both clubs have played on the weekend so fresh legs is needed.View attachment 335244

….struggling already without Gueye in CM, can’t see Garner moving anytime soon and surely the Iroegbunam experiment has already failed.

…..the Iroegbunam option lasted 45 mins, how sad, how brutal to be that exposed. He even had his own ‘opportunity’ thread ffs

Alcaraz/KDH will be better but I can’t see anything but us being totally exposed with that axis. Moyes might have to be innovative, maybe 3 at the back which invariably means 5 at the back as far as we’re concerned. Can’t think of a defender in the squad too be mobile enough to play the Gueye role.

Crazy to be so depleted when one old bloke becomes unavailable.
This is what I meant the other day when I said Alcaraz would benefit more than Iroegbunam from Gana’s absence. Tim has been flattering to deceive.

Moysey already talking our chances down against our bogey team, bloody marvellous.

No wonder the players cba turning up when he’s talking us down all the time.

Even though they are a bit indifferent form wise and we should be confident of doing bits, I worry they will have too much for our fragile bravehearts.

Woke up feeling rotten. After a bowl of porridge, I've relaxed a bit and thought about the next game. Might have been a blessing in disguise Timmy had such a bad game. Moyes hopefully accepts he can't play the Gana role and can't drop KDH, so probably best to push him back beside Garner and bring Charly in for more ball carrying energy. Not convinced JoB is any better at RB tbh as Semenyo will cause him a lot of problems but we don't have anyone we're willing to play or risk in that position. We never get anything against this lot so I'm not expecting anything. Managing expections is a life skill. UTFT always.

This could be car crash. Their form is not good but they are unbeaten at home. 14 points at home. 5 away.
I dont think we've the quality up top to bother them.
Drop dewsbury hall deeper. Bring in alcaraz but DO NOT chuck him out wide.

Cook, semenyo and brooks are suspended for Tuesday's game , so this is going to be our best opportunity to obtain a win at Vitality. Their form has deteriorated lately just have to be careful as they're such a vibrant and mobile team

A great week coming up, a seismic one even. First up, the Moyesiah against @davek's man, Andoni Iraola. Then, the Moyesiah up against @davek's man, the Dychatollah.

The traffic on here is going to exceed even that on Regent Road on a matchday.

After the horror show yesterday we deserve nothing less than three points against a faltering, suspension weakened Bournemouth, followed by three points from Dyche’s Notts Forest.

"Here lads"
"what?"
"remember these had Calvert Lewin guarding the front post?"
"yeah"
"He's not there any more, and no one else is doing his job heading crosses clear"
dinner bell sounds*
"Get at that front post every opportunity!"

Season he was with us and relegated, after a few games into the season he was talking about relegation. For all his good, Moyes's man management skills needs some work doing on it 😂
