Match Thread Bournemouth v Everton. Tue Dec 2. 7.30

Here is how this game goes.

We start well but without actually threatening their goal

They take the lead first half then get another early 2nd half

The game just pitters out into a toothless defeat as always.

They lost their heads yesterday.

Cook sent off, Brooks & Senesi carded means they all miss Tuesday night.
They've hit a bad patch of form and are conceding goals for fun but their manager is the ultimate high intensity front foot management style so if we're still feeling leggy in any way I have a bad feeling we could get overwhelmed here

Main worry is who fills the massive Gana gap in midfield. Igroebunum hasn't got the discipline to do it. Armstrong needs bringing back from Preston. Rhol injured.
The only solution for me is to play Dewsbury Hall alongside Garner and play Alcarez as the Number 10.

Press the hell out of them, get at them and they kinda fall apart. Real good on the counter but definitely don't like you getting at them. Depends which Everton shows up for this one.

…..the Iroegbunam option lasted 45 mins, how sad, how brutal to be that exposed. He even had his own ‘opportunity’ thread ffs

Alcaraz/KDH will be better but I can’t see anything but us being totally exposed with that axis. Moyes might have to be innovative, maybe 3 at the back which invariably means 5 at the back as far as we’re concerned. Can’t think of a defender in the squad too be mobile enough to play the Gueye role.

Crazy to be so depleted when one old bloke becomes unavailable.
Can we call Harrison Armstrong back ?

I'm just resigned to the inconsistencies. We are a side in development, so we'll get unexpected results, wins and losses.

Are we a better side than last season, yes. Will we be in the relegation fight, no. Anything else is a bonus at the moment

I want to see Ndiaye be a threat and I think we need to move Garner back right back to give the midfield a chance to find another passing lane plus give us more balance.

I thought Grealish was excellent unlocking Newcastle but we never got him on the ball enough.

Dibling needs game time and away to Bournemouth is a great chance given that both clubs have played on the weekend so fresh legs is needed.
