Sensi, all day long.

Used to play as Takeaway XI, Bombay Duck scored a diving header from just inside his own half once.

Got some awesome swerve with those old joysticks.

Sensible soccer was class, I had it on the Megadrive, it only had; teams in European competition, International teams and the random made up teams. But you could edit the teams and change the names, I spent days changing all the random team names, kits and players into the premier league teams, so I could play as Everton.

I kind of liked this game called Premier League Stars on the PSone, it had all of the premier league teams in it and after every game you were awarded points (stars) that you could use to improve your players abilities or put them towards a transfer to get a new player, it was great

Anyone else ever play this or a version of this at school:

We called it Mini League.
1 keeper, 2 players, 3 points for a win in a 2 minute game.

Ace when there was like 15 of you playing.

Or Wembley:
Everyone there vs everyone. Score one, through to the next round with the last person eliminated, until it got down to the last two players. I was boss at goal hanging during this.

I do remember that. Used a FIFA engine if I remember. Very much an early Ultimate Team.

International Super Star Soccer Deluxe on the SNES was my tipple of choice in my younger days

On the Playstation it was ISS Pro '98 and FIFA '99

Never really played games on my PC until the 00's so I never played Sensi in my youth. I did have the Euro 96 game for an old PC. It was just Actua Soccer with a new coat of paint. That PC was horrible though. It only had 16MB of memory. Can you imagine that today?

Didn't play manager games in my youth really. Did enjoy a bit of LMA Manager on my PS2

For Football manager games I played the early Champ Managers and was really into them. My favourite though was Premier Manager 98.

George Boetang was immense in it, he had up to an 84 average and could play anywhere on the pitch. There was a lad at Blackpool who was one of the best players in the game with 91, Scott Taylor I think he was called.......

There was another game, I cant remember the name of, where you could build onto the stadium and add hot dog stands and club shops etc all around it. That was quite cool, because you could start in the fourth division with a 2000 seater and work up to the Champions league in 120,000 seater stadium.
