Last year Big Felli got us a last minute winner that bagged us 3 points.

With injuries smashing the squad and Bolton looking a decent side that can score a few, this should be a tough away game on the back of poor home draws and a hammering at Benfica.

Prediction -
Bolton 1 (Davies) v Everton 1 (Saha)

TEAM (minus late fitness tests) -

Howard
Hibbert Neil Distin Baines
Bily Heitinga Fellaini Pienaar
Cahill
Saha
SUBS - Nash, Rodwell, Yakubu, Gosling, Duffy, Coleman, Jo

Heitinga's not a midfielder, it'd be a waste of time to be honest.

I have a feeling it'll be a very patched up side, possibly Distin or Neill at left back.

Rodwell's on his arse, Moyes has even said.

Got no other holding midfield player and we need some steel against a physical side. Rodder's cant do physical.

Play 5 at the back with a sweeper hahaha

Bar Bilyaletdinov, Rodwell was once again our best midfielder. Even Joe Royle said the same thing. If he's on his arse some of our midfielders must have passed away.

None of our midfielders can do physical, that's just the way it is at the moment. Rodwell is the best we have by a mile in his position.

Ofcourse Moyes would love to give him a rest and I'm sure he will do against Spurs but we need him at the moment, big time.

Heitinga should be a last solution in my opinion, I'd rather have Cahill and Fellaini in there if we are going to rest Rodwell, not Heitinga.

Never said he wasnt, and Id say Rodwell and Fellaini together did fine for parts of the game last night - Rodders being better.

But I dont see a problem with putting Heitinga in there if Moyes feels Rodwell needs a rest, even play him again at Spurs as I think he needs to grasp the tempo and at least 1 position.

As for the Spurs game. I'd litterally put the youth team out and build the Yids ego of being a monster top 4 club by battering us because its a nothing game playing at a silly time especially with an entire team on the physio table.

Heitinga looked lost against a fairly average team in Wolves, he didn't even do the basics. He looked like a defender playing in midfield, didn't look for the ball and offered little protection for the back four.

It reminded me of Jagielka playing in there. I just don't think he's a midfielder and I think it'd be a waste of a player. He's clearly a right back-centre back.

I agree with you about the Spurs game, I'd like to see us put out a second string side. Although I doubt Moyes will have any options anyway, he's already working with a second string side.

Im sorry to say I thinkl we will get beaten Sunday 2-0 by Bolton. Nothing to do with the Benfica match but I think we are struggling.

Bolton are resilient and have strong powerful forwards. I'll be happier if Yobo and Distin play CB, we may have a chance then against their height and power.

I swear i read somewhere that it doesn't look likely that any of our missing players will recover in time for Bolton. Now with Bily looking like he will miss the game. I don't have high hopes for this game.

If that happens I'll go for a tight loss or still a draw.

You'll probably see --

Howard
Neil Heitinga Distin Hibbert
Gosling Rodwell Fellaini Jo
Cahill
Saha

The back 4 will look solid enough on paper at least.

And anyway, we should be effing getting fired up for it. We win and the RS lose to United we'll be 1 point behind the RS with a game in hand!!!!

Hibbert at left back? Can we not play with ten please??!!
I'm taking my boots. I can still cut it!!!

2-1 to the Blues (y)(y)

Bolton will try to use the same methods as Stoke and Wolves to nullify us (there certainly not going to play like Benfica did) ,but personally I expect a big responce after what happened in the the Benfica/Wolves/Stoke games - and when I say a big responce I mean a feckin big responce........

.....and if we dont get it - brown trousers time - methinks.

Wouldn't surprise me if Lucas Neill plays left back - seeing as he's played there for Blackburn and West Ham quite a few times.
