First time ever a club does this in the entire history of football. To convince all staff and players is not an easy feat. Credit to all

Great gesture.
Embarrassment of riches in the PL and this the only way of it filtering down.
Yet they the PL ask for millions for a millionaire when he retires.

If one of the Sky Darling clubs had done this , it would be plastered all over the news . Probably because the club itself would make a song and dance about it .

Scudamore got £250k from every PL club for a leaving gift but then only a few clubs donate a bit to Bolton’s staff? Sickening.

These things are more important if we put the bigger picture into perspective.

The game is awash with obscene money, but clubs still require day to day staff to make the organisation tick. Not every employee is on mega bucks. I cannot imagine going a month + without my salary.

I bet not one media outlet report it - if it was the Kopites or Utd the media would be falling over themselves to report on such a good gesture same as the fund towards little Bradley.

A travesty that this is even required but not surprised by us and LFC donating.

Hope things get sorted for the staff there. I’d be in dire straits if I was even underpaid by a week let alone completely unpaid for weeks and months...
