Again they don't get paid out for the full length of their contract. That's why this is different.

Moyes would have never attracted a player like Lukaku either.

Lukaku isn't the be all and end all is it? He made Man U soft because the way we played under him would never have been tolerated at Man U ... He got us 4th with bent... Are you honestly telling me that if Moyes had stayed and was given the funds bobby was at the same time bobby was.... That we would have had two 11th placed finishing a and a team of half fit players that were jogging around a pitch not wanting to play for the manager? Have players like baines talking out to the press?

It's strange to think that if Martinez had been allowed to make another couple of first 11 signings in his first season then we would have walked into the champions league and maybe even been a dark horse for the title. However in just 2 further seasons, the same man had us real candidates for the drop. Had we suffered more injuries from January on, particularly to Lukaku, I think we were gone.

In that context, £10m isn't a bad investment to secure your overall Premier league income.

I agree with the sacking and I also agree with the fact he is legally entitled to it... I was just responding to a comment that he was wrongfully dismissed

It is impossible to say......that's just my opinion. And it seems the opinion of some others.

All we can do is go by what we saw on the pitch and IMO the three years of Bobby's tenure were way better than owt we seen during the reign of the three managers I named.

And if you ask me, that first season of Bobby's saw levels of football here we hadn't seen for yonkos.

I know we can never 100% know... But that's like saying ... If Messi signed for city and played 30 games ... I think we would not score a single goal... Of corse he would IMO but there is not way to 100% know is there? The fact that bobby couldn't pick a defence to save his life and the fact it's going to take a season to get the players for again after his crap training ... Would suggest to me that there is a massive chance he would have taken those previous teams down
