Bob Crow has died

Aged just 52. Suffice to say, I didn't agree with much of what he did, but that is no kind of age to pass on.

As an RMT member, he never did much for the shipping industry which I am part of, but still it is a young age to die. RIP.

Disagreed with him on just about everything, but it was hard not to admire him for how good he was at his job. Shame.

Indeed, you can't dispute that he's done a fantastic job for RMT members.

No idea, obviously. But often, despite being politically miles apart, politicians can become very friendly with their opponents. They admire the principles each other hold, even if they do not agree with each other.

John Major and John Smith spring to mind, and I am pretty sure Dennis Skinner is very pally with quite a few Tories. Away from politics of course.
