Just finished watching the last of Boardwalk Empire does anyone know if there is another series in the offering? Probably the best thing ive seen recently.

really liked this best on tv for a long while, dont know if there will be anymore, but it isnt sticking to the book so i hope they carry on, nucky lived till old age so plenty to work on with him and the others in the series.

Bluebloods and bored to death are different types but both easy and enjoyable to watch mate

Caught up with the season finale, I've loved watching this show best drama I've seen for ages.

Also started watching "Spartacus, gods of the arena", how violent is that ? Oh and it has Girl on Girl action as well, then again so does boardwalk empire.

It's very, very good.

Mad Men wipes the floor with it though, hands down. Although they're fairly different, I guess it's the closest comparison really; a hard hitting drama set in the first half or so of 20th century America.

In terms of just drama, if you've never seen it I always recommend Six Feet Under to people. The finale is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best TV finale ever. The last 5 minutes are the most powerful moments of drama I've ever experienced, in film or TV.



Oh and Bored to Death is exquisite. It's not really a drama though, it's a black comedy. Ted Danson, Zack Galifianakis and Jason Schwartzman are all fantastic in it.

Is the book a good read mate?

havnt read it mate auther siad it ,so just read upon line about the book and the background of people in it made for an intresting night,the series dosnt go alongside some of the stuff that went on in real life.i like reading about that era so know bits of how they end up.

Bored to death is excellent, great soundtrack too.

Though I lost the first few and the last couple of Boardwalk Empire when my Sky+ borked this week. I shall be torrenting them up this weekend for sho.

Next up The Walking Dead season 2. I'll be concentrating on games til that comes out.

Halfway through the penultimate episode of series 2, incredible viewing.

Just viewed the most awkward scene in the history of awkward scenes though, could see it coming though. Those of you have seen it will no doubt know which one I mean.
