Same circles

I have seen Kenwright and Mittal togther before in London! Admittidly it was over a year ago, but this London crowd all move in the same circles. Mittal and Berlasconi's interest in QPR is purely for the property - the biggest shopping centre in London is just around the corner from the ground and all they will do is once they get QPR up into the Prem, make an excuse that the ground is not big enough ... move them to Brentford or Slough:P, and sell the current staduim to property developers for a VERY tidy sum!

What Mittal wants with Everton I'm not quite sure ... I think he needs to somewhere to put a spare £100m or so, to avoid having to pay it tax, so he's going with EFC becauase the growth propsects are greater than that at Man Utd or the Red [Poor language removed] where shares would be at Premium .... AND after all, if you dont have your own football club your not really considered "one of them" and all the other clubs have their own billionaire, we're the next realistic choice!

If it comes true - I for one will be over the moon!

PS - He just bought another house in the road his current house is in (currently his is the most expensive house in the UK) and this one he's just bought ranks in the top 10 too!! Credit Crunch!? What credit crunch?

I hope the meeting is about it being called in and put in front of the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. New stadium incoming. I hope everyone remembers that the culture Sec is a die hard blue.

Come on Andy. Pull those strings you have at your disposal.

the culture sec. is also my mp, he's currently having to dodge a bit of flak over a comment he made about shami shami shami chakrabati and a midnight phone call to a member of the tory shadow cabinet, so i think he'll be watching his step at the mo and not pulling any strings.......if he's gonna pull anything i'd rather it be the plug on the new rs tosshole.
