The buck stops with Merseyside police . They are the ones who started as this in the first place end of story . The BNP should have been met with a flat and frank NO . Everton F.C and its supporters & the people of Merseyside come before the BNP . The roles should never be reversed .

The only problem I have got with Everton is the fact they have reversed the fixture yet again thus pissing off people who have chopped and changed their travel arrangements yet again .

The rate this going I bet half the people will fcuk the game off .

No, two perfectly acceptable and rational points. Maybe someone rational will pick up on it?

Not acceptable at all dave.

The police dictate what the club does, so how have they caved in?

2nd, its now in its rightful date back on the sat, you want to blame the BNP/police for there stupidity, but eh its a chance for you to have a go at the club again so your happy

How is it the wrong decision?

1) caving in in the first place to Merseyside Police to shift the fixture for a bunch of fcking nazis

2) arsing their own supporters (or as it suits them when they like: 'customers') around by switching back again all because the [Poor language removed] who ****ed up in the first place have now changed their minds.

Hows that to be going on with?

When you say "caving in" do you mean obeying the law?

Sure its a crappy reason and presumably the club argued it at first but don't the police by law have the power to make EFC move the game for whatever reason the police see fit?

If not then caving in sounds about right.

They had the option to say 'No'. That much was made clear by M'side Police. They caved in to the police in that respect. 'Cave in'/'accomodated' - they're just different phrases that mean the same thing in this instance: the club took the decision to inconvenience their own 'customers'. Now you have the laughable spectacle of Ian Ross telling all that it's only right to go back to the original date....after they'd made the decision it was 'only right' to switch from it in the first place.

George Orwell, meet Everton's head of communications.

It wont do the club any favours by turning round and blaming the police will it

No, the club should have refused to shift the date and let the police do their worst. It's too late to blame the police now.

It's not the end of the world, though. I just wish the club had had told the police to stuff their plans in the first place. It's not like Obama was coming to town, it was just a bunch of neo-nazis.
