Blues you've met...make a team...

Putting all the takeover jarg to one side, how about thinking about the Everton players you've met and try to make a team out of them? Met Lee Carsley yesterday at my restaurant and was chuffed. Got me thinkin...and I'm a bit bored so here goes...

GK Dave Lawson (used to live near me when I was a kid - crap though!)
RB can't think of one!
CB Alan Stubbs (met him in the box at Brum pre-season)
CB Mick Lyons (met him at Ladbrokes in Waterloo years ago)
LB nope...
RM Graham Stuart (RM? Hmmm...met him in Spain about a year after the Wimbledon goals!)
CM Lee Carsley (legend if only for 'that' goal!)
CM Duncan McKenzie (fave player ever...met him in the box at WBA one year)
LM I'm struggling here!
ST Graeme Sharp (met him at Cockfosters tube car park on the way to the Emirates)
ST Bob Latchford (again, at the restaurant but ages ago!)

nightmare on the strikers though...I met Big Dunc at a public FA Cup display in town in 1995! I also met Dave Hickson at Goodison once and he could easily walk into any Everton team as a centre-forward. Brian Kidd too, sheesh. And Daniel Amokatchi at Wembley for the semi-final on Wembley Way!

CM - John Ebbrrell - saw him walking next to Goodison, congratulated on his whopper v Stockport ( cringed as he walked away ..)
FW - Wayne Rooney - was in a shop which was closed off for him, and i trapped in the girls shoe section with him, his missus at the time ( no coleen, and my missus )

Gutted because pretty much all of these was before phone cameras and such

Don't live in the UK any more so I don't think I'll see many outside the odd game I get to when back at home

Not a bad side though!

I suppose I could put Beagrie LM but I'd rather have an empty space there!

I can't include when they were wearing match day tracksuits because that would be the entire team. So away from the match environment I met Phil Neville in Manchester airport when we were both flying to New York. Not together sadly.

I met Graeme Sharp when I was playing under 11s footy he was the star player at prize night at the end of the season.

Oh I also met Peter Beardsley in Woolworth's. That was ace.
