I can't express how happy I am to once again be in the company of the best fans in the world.​

Did you miss me? :D​

Well I certainly missed you. I've been lurking in the background, too shy to post anything, and finally plucked up the courage when most of you are probably in bed ....... muwahahaha :P​

There's a lot gone on in my life since we last chatted, and I'm sure the same can be said for you guys. A big thanks to everyone who kept in touch with me over the last month or so, and cheers for all the kind comments that have been made in my absence. ​

I can't wait to catch up with everyone, and find out all the juicy gossip, but where to start I don't know lol.​

What I will say though, is that towards the end of my last visit, I was very much in need of a break from the internet, and my 'be nice' batteries were running on low, and were desperate for a good charge. A big apology if anyone became caught up in hurricane Bastardo. :blush:​

I'm pleased to say that things are on the up, and my outlook on life is a lot more positive. ​

The nice Bastardo that people remember is back in business, and gone is the stressed out, head wrecked, argumentative Bastardo that maybe some of you knew well. If anyone needs a big cuddle, just let me know.​

I'm not 100% yet, but I'm not far off, and everyday feels like blue skies and sunshine in comparison at the moment. Even the wife has started to notice a change for the better, and to be honest, it's great to wake up in the morning now, and just go with the flow of a new day.​

Guess what? I'm still a none smoker. :D​

It must be getting close to over 3 months now. Perhaps if there is anyone else out there quitting, I can shed a little light on my own experiences and offer a little support.​

3 signings? Has the world gone mad?​

Mucha, Silva, and Kaka apparently? :lol: I'm actually very excited about our prospects next season, and have a feeling we will see some more new faces over the next month or so.​

Top 4 is all ours ......... oh yes!!​

Chico, I guess I'm a bit of both lol. Perhaps a blue cross on a dirty white background would suit me better. :D

I've been asked by a member if I've only come back because Lcab has left.

The truth is that I've been reading the forum for quite some time, and sharing pm's, and the timing just felt right. It had nothing to do with lcab, and regarding our previous disagreement, as far as I'm concerned, it is all in the past and I would love to see him back posting here, but that's his decision. :)

I hope everyone has a great World Cup regardless of your country, and a big 'well done' to the USA after our draw. I hope to see you in the final.

On the lcab thing, some mad suspense in the thread last night.

He'll be back, in his own time, as you can testify it's good to have a little head break from time to time to counter the side effects of nerdism.
