I considered slamming this little number in the Dark Knight thread, but the fact of the matter is, this film is darker and more thought provoking than most Ive seen. It more than warrants its own thread.

*Kind of spoiler* (but if you're aware that its a relationship drama then you can pretty much guess whats going to happen.)

I love how this film splits the timeline of past and present and mirrors the actions of the present with similar actions of the past. In a way the technique used reminded me of Eternal Sunshine, but Blue is far more......... more....... damn I seriously cant think of the work I'm looking for! Lets call it less cerebral!

Anyway Gosling and Williams are flawless and in amongst the darkness there is a couple of nice jokes and a ukulele, whats not to like!

It's very real, and so far my favourite film of the year and if it was out last year I think it would be in with a chance of being my favourite film of last year.

If you like art house then go see this and give it your money before it disappears from theatres.

Oh, and the end credits are a delight (y)

Fantastic, mate. I was looking forward to seeing this and I'm glad to hear it's lived up to the hype (critics, I mean).

I shall get to it ASAP and report my findings! :P

I have to wait a few more weeks until my little local cinema gets this on. Looking forward to it though.

Sounds like a less traumatic 'Irreversible' (highly recommended by the way), following the Godard mantra that every film should have a beginning, middle and an end - though not necessarily in that order.
