We're "best of the rest", not something normally requiring an open top bus ride but if you're a yo yo club like Stoke, Sunderland etc it's what dreams are made of.

We are anything but, so it's nothing to older fans.

I'll say this much.

While I think we have better players by position than Stoke and a better overall team than Stoke, Stoke has now become a team that you really don't fancy playing.

They've become a tougher proposition than when they first entered the league a few years back and have consolidated their position.

Credit where credit is due.

As far as Stoke go Crouch is alright, I think his big problem is bouncing around from team to team year after year. Ethrington while no Pinnear is a bit underrated IMO.
