They should make transparent netting so the poor lids sat right behind the goal can get a half-decent view of the game.
The blue netting is transparent for the rest of the ground anyway. Whenever a goal goes in at the GSE it looks like the ball has just disappeared into the crowd.

What do they even need netting for anyway? Apart from stopping the ball slamming someone in the mush after a goal, what are they for? With goal line technology, they don't even need it to signify a goal has been scored.

Oh I know, whilst it serves no practical purpose anymore, the idea of the ball just sadly bobbling around on the blue gravel doesn't exactly match the ripple of the net as the ball nestles into it.
