I can recommend the book "one day in september" Bry, about the same subject, excellent read

Always fascinated me that period of history, between 1970 and 1990 - them, Baader-Meinhof, IRA etc. Just a lot of internal uprisings, coups and crude terrorism. I know we have the Islamic threat now, but back then there were extremists for everything.

This was very good on the Weather Underground and Baader Meinhof groups in USA/Germany.

Britain had the "Angry Mob"...people who got...erm, 'angry', and grumbled a lot.
