Recent? Average price of vinyl i recently bought was £20-£30 2nd hand quality pressing, or new.
90's onward dance stuff has seen about a 30% jump. Again. Either some people are stockpiling to force a limit on the market or there's a lot of middle age crisis buying pushing the market up. Bloody John Lewis adverts...

I've recorded my music(vinyl) to the highest bitrate possible on my converter cant remember the figures exactly as its months since I did some 192kHz 24 bit stuff I think. But I have a separate unit for all that, an Innuos Zen mk3 which has 1Tb on it. It's just over half full, with that and my cd collection.

Nah this 8Tb is for personal files, me and the missus, plus the DVDs I ripped so that I no longer have to sit through menus or endless anti-piracy warnings (that use a music they never paid royalties for!). It's future proofing for the day I get around to ripping the other 500 DVDs I have.

I realised one day that I have a better collection of films over the years, than Netflix, Disney or Amazon offer so am binning them and their subscriptions off - but I like the ease of having them all stream from my now local source.

Bought a telly that was apparently £400 off. It was probably only £400 more in the weeks leading up to the sale, but sod it: existing telly was 5 years old and probably end of line stock when I bought it. As it's been a bit of a bum of a year decided to treat m'sen.

I cannot believe how much better the picture is on the new telly. I now can't handle the lack of definition of reality.

I paid an extra fiver to get next day delivery so it arrived in time for the Everton v. Newcastle game. Next level genius move that was.
