Bjarni Loaned to Bournemouth

Following his good showing at Bournemouth while playing for the blues, Bjarni has been loaned out to the cherries.

His good performance and goal must have impressed the Bournemouth boss and this is a great oppotunity for the lad to get some good football under his belt.

We will be keeping a close eye on how he is doing.

Bizarrely my wifes cousin got a home shirt for his birthday before the start of the 06/07 season and when his dad asked what name and number he wanted he said Bjarni Vidarsson. Number 46 I think he was. Cost a fortune and the girl behind the counter was puzzled too lol.

Remember him? As a dane i've watched him quite a bit, heck the guy has 33 national caps. The thing with him is he just never seemed to fit into the british game, because both at Udinese and Fiorentina he was actually quite a good player.

And just for nitpicking, it's Per Krøldrup ^^.

You should've seriously seen him when he returned back to Denmark, as each year passed you could see him get bigger and bigger (beeeers) but impressively enough, he fared quite well when he returned.
