Can't buy class

Player Valuation: £1.5m
Guys

I know I will probably get shot down in flames by certain sections but I have just read this article in the echo and it made me realise what a good guy our chairman actually is.

Liverpool Echo.co.uk - Everton FC - News - Bill Kenwright shows true family spirit at Everton

I know he hasn't got the finances we all crave (but be careful what you wish for!) and he sometimes say's the wrong thing but he demonstrates what this club is all about...Passion, Pride and Class.

Hes like a new signing is Bill! (y)

Im sure the Glazers et al do this every week, when we're constanly told football is a buissness its nice to see a true gent offer a bit of compassion and humanity, he helps to make Everton uniuqe!

Let the scaremongering begin:

Some people will say this is pro-Kenwright propaganda put out at a time when Billy is likely to be remaining in charge of the club having not sold us all to Kirkby.

Not me though. I still have some faith in human beings.

Unfortunately this thread is simply a call for the 'Teds of the World' to unite under one banner.

Expect the usual suspects to arrive soon.

If we could somehow magic an Emirates style stadium Moyes would give us a title. Extremely confident of that. Our approach is an outstanding one, we just need to generate a bit more cash. It's within touching distance lads.

It is, but we are so far away from touching it. We dont generate enough cash at the moment.

Thats the point of the model it is gradual growth and that growth has to be sustained, its no coincidence that Arsenal have had the same board for Donkeys and built the club of the feild on the back of a manager who has built the club on the feild from the bottom up. There are a lot of similarties, im not saying we are like for like with Arsenal, but really its the only model open to us currently and i feel the right one in terms of long term self sustainability, the stadium thing is a massive issue though.
