Bill Kenwright

Yet more revisionist garbage from his strange little acolytes.

"It broke his heart to be to be told to stay away". Right there, a clear example of the absolute bollocks he put out there to protect and elicit sympathy for himself.

"He couldn't understand the protests, and frankly neither could I". We've just been deducted 10 points for gross mismanagement of our finances you divvy.

I get zero pleasure out him dying, that's only something a nutcase would celebrate, but do I think it's a good thing he's finally gone from EFC? One thousand per cent. He will be remembered as the most unpopular person in the club's history and that legacy is fully deserved. The reasons to despise him are too many for me to bothered to list. Only thing as infuriating is the sycophants who weirdly continue champion him. You lot can all go as well because the club doesn't need losers, liars and fantasists. Never did.
That just reinforces the point that he was unfit for the role

What has Royle said there that's got people up in arms?

He quite simply said the "nonsense" was over him being advised not to go.

“I hope some of them are now regretting some of the things that went on in the light of Bills passing”

What are these things he’s talking about? Apart from a handful of idiots chasing a players car the protests were conducted well and if, to be clear I say if, his lack of understanding is regarding what caused the protests themselves then I don’t know what to say to the man.

The whole thing got brushed under the carpet . It was a cowards trick. I suspect he used his old mate David Dein to get in touch with Ian Wright and it backfired.

I think a lot of the protesters and regular fans couldn't understand the clubs actions.
If anything the protests at mismanagement have been born out by the 10 point deduction.
Stupid thing for Royle to say.

Also, 99.999% of Evertonians have been very respectful of Bill in his passing.
There's absolutely no need for finger pointing from the clubs aristocracy
