Bill Kenwright

Not every stadium-plan goes through. It's one of the most complex building projects possible, especially for non-London, non-ChampsLeague clubs.

The fans (season-ticket holders, fan-club members) were given an official vote on that and the majority voted YES.

Generally, this Kenwright-hate movement has never represented the majority of Evertonians, despite a loud presence online.

Better than the Mosh-era, for sure.
Carlin?
'deconstructed rep' indeed! 🤔

I'll answer but you must too:

Our best years of Bill's 24 where the 2004-2015 period where we collectively have a bunch of great memories and fine players.

I also want titles & cups...all I'm doing is recognising that pre-Mosh was much better than with-Mosh.

Speak for yourself. That era was nothing but false dawns and broken promises. It was absolutely not filled with "great memories", it years of frustration because disgusting pig Kenwright wouldn't let go of the trainset whilst other clubs around us all pushed on.

Pre-Mosh we were living hand-to-mouth, begging the banks every summer not to foreclose on us, selling our best player so Moyes had the funds to do a cheap deal or two and embracing our embarrassing 'People's Club' moniker. Oh, and literally lying to force through an illegal move to Kirkby.

Kenwright is simply the worst thing that ever happened to the club. The day he's gone at least we can begin to hope again.

literally lying to force through an illegal move to Kirkby...
...which the majority of fans supported.

And why 'illegal'? The Gov ended it as they thought it would be bad for local culture.

And finishing regular top 7.

Post-Mosh? Nowhere near.

They supported because Billy Liar went on national TV and told outright lies about how Goodison was going to lose it's safety certificate.

The Government ended it by refusing planning permission saying they never met the criteria required, something KEIOC had been pointing out would happen all along in their campaign. Even if we'd had private funding to cover all the costs, it was never seeing the light of day.

Top 7 finishes, wonderful. We all dream of that. 😒

Do you know how the very large majority feel about Kenwright?
How do they feel?

Where's the "illegal" bit?

We do now.

hahaha....no, we weren't.

We haven't been one of the Big Anything since the Prem started.

Unless...you're not counting the period since he became Chief, but counting since he first joined the Board in 1989?

We won the FA Cup with him on the Board.

Walsh & Brands wasted Mosh's money, not Bill.

We were you Pillock, we won the league in 1987

He was on the board when the struggles began, we went downhill from there.

Funny how you give him all the credit for thd FA cup win in 95 and hardly any for the other 33 years do one wum. Shame the Current affairs forum is shut, that's were you caused most of the damage there.
