Big Vic or Jelavic against the Saints??

Victors scored more goals this season than Jelavic and has played well in the games he's had recently.

Obviously playing well when you get the chance doesn't mean you're gonna get picked the next game, Jelevic is seen as number 1 so comes straight back in.

Must be frstrating for Victor but he needs to keep doing what he has been recently and playing well when he gets a chance.

I'd say thats how you remind everyone you are the number one striker at the club. Really desperate for us to have a striker who scores for fun, it's been desperately lacking for so many season now, I reckon Jelavic is the man to finally start scoring 20+ goals a season for us.

I just wondered what everyone's opinion was on the selection of Anichebe or Jelavic tomorrow. If Jelavic is fully fit do you play him, or do you play Anichebe, - I can't believe that I am going to say this but he has been brilliant in the last few games. I am not his biggest fan but credit where credit is due and he was by far our best performer against Leeds, although that's not saying much!!!! Will it knock Anichebe's confidence if dropped to the bench again after looking so promising, or has he matured enough to realise that he will not start every game. If it is the latter then perhaps we have the player that Moyes saw all those years ago when he first came on to the scene. Can we leave someone of Jelavic's quality on the bench, I honestly think he is an absolute demon and an outstanding piece of business by the manager - surely he has to play. What do you think Moyes will do? COYB

Although this answer has come after the game is over, the answer would have been the same before the game, Surely a question that either didn't need to be asked, as the answer is plainly OBVIOUS - Jela all day long

I'm happy that Vic has been on form for some time now (his stats for his cameos last year were really good) but as said, Jelavic is a better striker and also has more in his game. Hopefully we can use Vic more and he'll keep up his form.

Jella - looked tired towards the end of the game -Its now nice to have an inform Victor to compete for the strikers role & score goals too - we could have scored 6 to 8 easily today but 3 points is all that matters.
