Big Vic - Moyes favourite

Im always one to give people chance but there has to come a time when you say he's not good enough.

Last chance I suppose.

I'm not writing him off yet. I don't think he's got enough to make it as a premier league striker, but he's shown promise out wide and maybe if he spent a season there and got his confidence up he'd be able to become a decent striker.

There are mitigating circumstances to his poor performances up front that people overlook. He's had a horrible record of injuries, he's never had a consistent run of games up front, the fans are always on his back, he's still only young and last season at least he was often put up front on his own in impossible circumstances. The man city game comes to mind, where he was so isolated that Robinson Crusoe looked gregarious by comparison.

he has had plenty of chances to shine, if you ask me. It's down to attitude and a will to succeed, if he can't be bothered then flog him, that is the apparent attitude from Vic, no matter where you are picked. Are professional footballers different to most other poeple? You have a job you get paid for, you should work....from what i have seen to date, apart from the odd game here or there, he doesn't seem to work that hard...

I think people mistake his literal moaning and demeanour for a lack of effort.

If you actually watch him he does run a lot and try to use his strength.

He does need to cut out the moaning, mind.

i hope that vic shuts everyone up big-time. get off the lads back- its never done anyone any good
