What position does this Jones kid play? It sounds like we could have an entire midfield's worth of academy products playing for the first team in a few years.

yes but equally we may have a range of journeymen.

Let's let the young kids develop at the right pace in what looks like is becoming a top quality academy facility with hopefully a number of them making it. We have all seen lots of good kids come through and not quite get there (Branch, Symes, Cadamarteri etc). I truly hope this kid (and others) make it, and I personally really enjoy the academy stuff on here from AB. It is top draw. But we need to not get too excited about them. Even Barkely is at the very beginning of his journey and needs time and space to develop.

He's a midfielder, he's played a few times for the U18's and looks a little out of his depty, doing well with the U16's though

I've heard him on BBC Radio Cymru (the Welsh language station) and he sounds a good lad. I hope he makes it.

Interesting to hear Chris Long talking about how that work with Big Dunc helped him to score that cracker vs Paderborn. Glad to see Dunc is able to impart his knowledge onto the youngsters, particularly those up front. A real asset for us from the sounds of it
