He is from what glimpses we have seen, has good hold up play and a decent shot on him. Well worth the potential. But if we get two strikers, wouldnt mind him getting some nice experience out on loan.

We haven't seen that at Prem level,not his fault as he's be blighted by injury (one of them really rare) I've a feeling if he goes out on loan that'll be the last we see of him. This pre-season will be make or break.

Absolutely this. Ferguson has the talent to be a world beater. He's exactly the sort of player we should take a gamble on.

He is unlucky with injuries, but he is a decent striker even under the previous guy and that is saying something. I think a European loan would help him, he has had only about 4-5 months of first team football under his belt after all.

I just can't help but like him.
Always trying even when it's not going his way.
You can tell he is working on his game and is improving.
He is definitely worth keeping around.
If we get a few midfielder who can see an early through ball he will get even better
He is forever showing for that pass but it doesn't come.

42 minutes in 4 appearances without a shot on goal is what the clubs website is quoting. Hard to call that first team football. Don't get me wrong I hope he can make it with us but being realistic the odds aren't too good.

Beto is the last person on the list we should be thinking of moving on with the number of players already leaving. He's a handful, sometimes (ok maybe lots) clumsy but has scored important goals for us. Given his return this season he could have been a 15-20 goal a season striker and they don't grow on trees. Lets sort the rest of the squad out first.

He broke into sporting's team only the January of the summer we signed him... He literally has around 4 months of proper football in first team.
