If someone comes in with snap-their-hand-off money, we take it. Letting him run his contract down is probably a bad idea, but if we want to keep him we'll have to come close to matching what another club offers as a wage packet, then extend.
In general, I think he's more part of the solution than the problem. Only Beto and Ndiaye scored more than the random goal or three chipped in by squad members. They wouldn't be where I would start, when looking for funds to rebuild the squad.

Spend the money on wide players that can add goal threat and a second striker that can challenge Beto selling a 10-15 goal a year player in his prime isn’t something we have the luxury of doing

We'd be crazy to sell him. The lads basically played half a season and bagged 10! Given a full season playing to his strengths, he's guaranteed goals! We absolutely should be keeping him at the club.
He's got a style that's not easy on the eye at times, and early doors under Dyche and playing the odd 10 mins, it wasn't easy to see him leading the line, but under Moyes he's improved massively. Setting up to play to his strengths under Moyes has shown exactly what he can do.
John O'Kane

Yeah, can't understand people wanting to get rid. Given how badly we have needed goals, to get into double figures in half a season is impressive.
Keep him, sign another striker and then a fast winger. He's not the most polished player but he will get goals. 10+ in a team with Harrison as a starting winger is pretty unbelievable
