Definiately not for that money, I would add if there is less interruption (more starts) in those minutes that a strikers record is likely to be better yet. Its up to the striker to earn though starts, but stillScored a goal every 180 minutes in PL this season. Not many players with a better goal return to be fair.
He’s done ok - nothing more, nothing less
Checks notes“Proven premier league goalscorer”

No wonder our standards are so low
I would not. He can score. Yes, I would like better but I doubt we can spend enough for three better. Keep him, re-sign Dom and use as much as possible on a high quality 1st choice.Great header for the goal. He has a particular skillset that is effective when played to his strengths, but his all-round game is lacking..
If we can get close to our money back for him in the summer I'd look to move him on.
Id keep him,but as for DCL,we need someone who is available to play on a regular basis.I would not. He can score. Yes, I would like better but I doubt we can spend enough for three better. Keep him, re-sign Dom and use as much as possible on a high quality 1st choice.
Disagree, our suppy from mid and full back are terrible. I always think the striker is to score. Any other are bonus. DCL and Broja are all good at holding the ball but can they score?! NO! We all know how poor they are in scoring.I would not. He can score. Yes, I would like better but I doubt we can spend enough for three better. Keep him, re-sign Dom and use as much as possible on a high quality 1st choice.
I`d look to keep him as he can find the back of the net, works very hard. I think our big problem is in midfield, and that`s where we need a right overhaul. Too many teams stop our attacks in the final third and too easily get to our penalty area without much of a challenge. A player or two that can be relied on to win the ball back if our attack breaks down or a least hold up the opposition coming forward would be top of my list.I’m absolutely in two minds about him. On the plus side his work rate can’t be faulted and he is scoring with decent-ish regularity now that he’s getting starts. On the other hand, his first touch is criminal, and he’s not got much pace. I think there’s 2 options; keep him as ‘second striker’ or, if a daft offer comes in, take it. I’d err on keeping him, at least for one more season.
Very strange…Beto bought for only 30M. Compare with Solanke and Evanlison are very worth. You may argue there are other good players outside. But will they choose us? Or can we afford to buy!? I can say if we started Beto from early of season, he can score for 10+.Why anyone is looking to sell our only player who regularly scores goals is beyond me
Hopefully we bring in a really good number nine and Beto is a second choice option next season who can get goals when we need to switch it up
