2024/25 Beto

Imagine I have a very limited understanding of written English language. Can you run this past me again slightly easier to understand please.
I'm not sure whether you are just teasing me or if you actually need me to explain.

If you are, then I apologise.

I'm saying is when I have watched him, he has been very poor, so I'm not sure if he is just a poor player or is better than what I have seen and just wants to go back to Chelsea.

Beto saved Everton FC from relegation
And some would argue Lampard saved Everton a few years ago, fact is he should have been sacked the morning after Palace and Beto should be sold after Newcastle, similar to how Martinez should’ve been sacked after he lost all 4 games over Christmas 2014. Hopefully this club will learn to learn.

I don't think Beto is a world beater, nor do I think he's crap. He is in my opinion, more effective than DCL and more of a general nuisance for opposition defenders, but at same time, he's no Lukaku. Is he going to miss decent chances? No doubt. Will he score others? Yes. I'd actually start Broja for derby game and put Beto on when Dick Van Dyke and Konate get tired. Beto is a confidence based player, if things aren't going his way, head drops. It's only a tiny percentage of strikers now who are world class, who can change a game out of nowhere. Unless you spend a ridiculous amount nowadays, you can't get a prolific striker. Tim Cahill and Felaini were better at taking chances, than most top clubs strikers nowadays.
