Bit of both. Just can’t see DCL scoring many of these goals Beto has. Maybe dom of a few years ago but he hasn’t looked a slotter apart from that 1 season under don carlo.

Dom did score a very good goal for Moyes against spurs tbf. So maybe it is just no dyche meaning our players are not as bad as we all thought.

I don't trust DCL through on goal at all. Says it all really.

Moyes definitely told him to take a bit of a breather after halftime. He is the only fit striker so it makes sense to stay that way and not pick up any knocks. Almost wish we had just subbed him instead and played to defend the win. We should never be throwing a two goal lead with this back line.

Once he gets going all the pieces are there for him to be an utter monster finisher. Nobody can touch him at speed like Lukaku and Yakubu when they got going.

Dyche would play him 1 game if dom was injured or tired, then Beto wouldn’t score then would be back on the bench the next game. Dyche never ever game him a run of games which now looks absolutely mental.

Bet dyche still thinks he was right in never playing him

Dyche would argue that the “ tough love” he gave him built character and that he is the sole reason that Beto is the player he is today

I think it's difficult to look at any of our strikers over the last 3 years and draw a opinion because of the negative tactics Dyche employed. We could have had 4 fit strikers and none of them scoring because of our confidence sapping style. Very happy for Beto

First half he was superb, great goal, 2nd half we just didnt attack as a unit and he didnt have much to do, thats when you need options on the bench and we sadly didnt have any.

Anyway, another goal, keep going big man.
