2023/24 Beto

Playing to his strengths he could be useful A.K.A. letting him be a battering ram, balls over the top etc.

However playing the ball to feet and asking him to link up... nah.

Exactly & the £30mil shouts are bizarre when the fee was €25mil.

We actually should be selling him & DCL while reinvesting in a more effective player.

Treat this as a 'free' loan and move him on.

Zat no one in their right mind is going to offer us anything like our money back on Beto.

And how much do you think we will get for an injury prone centre forward who can't score?

It was €30m so around £26m and if we sold him in the summer it would be at a large loss.

He wasnt signed for that amount. €25mil was the fee which at the time was £21.5mil.

Add ons also likely wouldnt be triggered if we sold in the summer (though we should have sold the moment the window opened).

“Up to £30m” so deduct the addons and you’re at the £25/26m range.

He seems to be held in high regard in Italy.
Nope. Udinese fans where confused as to why we we paying so much for a player that was worth roughly half that. Go on the soccer subreddit for the transfer and you’ll see them all pissing themselves.
