Best: Richard Pryor, Peter Kay, Billy Connolly, Frankie Boyle, Tommy Cooper, Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, Dylan Moran.
Worst: John Bishop, Miranda, Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr, Lee Evans, Harry Hill and the ginger lad out of Ideal who's just terrible.

Izzard is definitely in the great category for me.

O yeah, Izzard is a comedy genius. I admire his observational comedy tinged with a magical and imaginative perspective and his candour when it comes to cross dressing. But if he came round my house; started doing a routine about my cat and taking the mickey out of it, and then forcing it to wear suspenders and lipsticks, I'd say OY Izzard no!

That's not a perverted prop but the family pet. now stop scaring the kids and get out of my house.

Ha kudos, for the enfield reference.

All Time Faves: Rik Mayall & Ade Edmunson, Eddie Izzard, Billy Conolly, Frankie Boyle, Bill Bailey, Dara Obriain, Dylan Moran
Really Don't like : Jim Davidson, Lee Evans (Norman Wisdom but not as funny), Tommy Tiernan, Stephen K Amos

As far as sketch comedy goes, I thought the armstrong and miller show had its moments. The RAF pilots were good.

The Armando Iannuci show was as good as it gets.

Best: Stewart Lee / Charlie Brooker / Bill Hicks (still)

Worst: Miranda / most middle of the road stuff.

Pryor and Sellers were geniuses. Not sure Chris Rock is on the same level for me.

Pryor stand up and Sellers as a comedic actor. You cannot go wrong.

Izzard is definitely in the great category for me.

Can't believe I forgot Pryor and Charlie Brooker. The former is a comedy God and the latter has some of the most ruthless comedy incision out there.

As for Izzard, he's awesome and pretty unique... But sometimes a bit too out there for me!

For What its worth 10 O clock live is worth a look with Mitchell, Brooker and Carr on form its very funny oh and Lauren Laverene is in it as well

I'm a fan of David Mitchell... but more because of Peep Show. Which he does not write.

His podcast is boss though.

My favourite old school sketch of all time.

Saw Billy Conolly live a couple years ago over here, he has a few baggers going around but personally was the best money I've ever spent on a show, went for 3 hours by himself and was brilliant.
