Best team's to play on the run in?

We've got Blackburn, Stoke, Fulham and Portsmouth left to go. When you think about it, could we ask for a better run in? Blackburn and Stoke have nothing to play for, whereas Fulham and Portsmouth will have their minds on other competitions. I wouldn't mind playing Sunderland but, other than that, I think that's pretty much the run of games that I won have chosen myself. Even Burnley have shown that they've got fight and are capable of a shock.

We've got nothing to play for either - so it doesn't matter either way.

I'd swerve playing Arteta though - I'd give him an early pre-season.

Villa have managed only four league wins since the start of the year, drawing 9 matches in that time. Their run in is:

Portsmouth (A) Maybe they'll turn it on now that the league pressure is off and they're competing for Cup Final places?
Hull (A) Perhaps the Burnley pasting will spur them into showing some fight?
Birmingham (H) Draw written all over it.
City (A) City should have too much firepower.
Blackburn (H) Blackburn have been keeping it very tight away from home recently.

I think Villa will draw quite a few of their remaining games. If we can get wins, and seventh does qualify for the Europa League, then it's still on.

I'm saying that Villa aren't home and hosed quite yet for seventh and it's no good giving up the chase.

I would like us to win the last 4 games for no other reason than I am a bad loser!
Win the 4 games and see where it takes us, that's all we can do.

Shame we dropped silly points against Brum, Wolves, Hammers recently or who knows.....

Overlook Fulham and they'll walk away smiling with three points tucked under their arms. Portsmouth have absolutely nothing to play for which makes them dangerous even at Goodison. Rovers and Stoke should be six points coming Everton way.
