If Pienaar keeps his level for the next few seasons I'd probably go for him or Baines at that point.

On the basis of the 12 years I have been watching the Blues going to have to go with Martyn, Arteta and Cahill in that order.

Really, really don't get why Nigel Martyn gets brought up in these conversations, I know Moyes has basically named him his #1 buy but...

He & Everton had a bloody woeful 2003/4 and 2005/6 that bookended that one brilliant season where he was fantastic, i'm looking for more than just 30-odd games of brilliance from a player to justify it.

Pienaar gets my vote, we've basically spent a £5m transfer fee for him all in all and he's just bloody fantastic...he gets my vote too because it's pretty f*cking clear that Everton is the club for him, which makes it all the more special.

Arteta on his blob is still the best player i've seen under Moyes though, of that there's no doubt.
