Looking at relocating to the UK in the future i.e. next 5 years.
Where has been the best place to live and work for you?
Will be likely working within the NHS.

....nice if you can pick where you work for the NHS, my daughter is told which hospital she works in on 12 month rota. There are lots of lovely places in the UK, much depends on whether you have kids and if so what is best for them. Also, house prices, cost of living etc differs from place to place. Might be easier narrowing down the region you prefer.

Seriously, nice area is Whiston, just outside liverpool. Posher area, got a big hospital down the road and plenty of amenities all withing a 5 minute drive including a huge supermarket.

I've lived in Central Scotland for the bulk of the last 36yrs, apart from Everton it's got everything I want up here.
You don't feel as much part of the rat race as in England, the pace is a lot easier here.

There are lot's of walks and cycle paths around me,a main rail station gets me to Glasgow,Edinburgh and Stirling in no time and my missus works at the local modern hospital which is walking distance from our house.

Scotland. Cheaper cost of living, lots of beautiful countryside and a reasonable prospect of being selected for the national rugby team inside four years.
I was actually thinking about Scotland.
Don't want to live in London because of the costs and hustle and bustle.
