Best Individual Everton Goal ?

Has anyone ever hit a free kick harder than this?

Wouldn’t be attempted these days, even with the floaty balls. None of the Rashford-esque fannying about trying to kick the valve either.

Not totally in keeping with the topic at hand….The 2 in one match was ridiculous, second one beautiful and un-savable. Perfection. Baines vs. Sheeds? 🤔

Love this. Gives 4 defenders a hernia without a single step over or any pace. Just brute force and body feints.

Modern day egos and agents don’t allow it, but Rom was tailor made to be the biggest star in a club that was thrilled to have him, scoring goals like this and lapping it up.
He was perfectly suited to us when we were a top half/europa league team

Neither us nor him have done better since sadly

Mirallas scored some good individual goals. Got a few against spurs but this one probably the best

I can remember fans used to get a bit frustrated by Mirallas at the time. What we’d give for an attacker of his quality now.

….i love this goal, it’s everything about that great Everton team. Ray Wilson stopping the ball before stepping back and measuring the pass as he always did, Royle leap, Alan Ball assist and then the serene Alex Young.

Taking the ball magnificently on his chest and into his path, slaloming gracefully past United’s defence with Nobby Stiles trying to break him in two without getting near, then the ball buried in the Park End goal past Stepney. Sheer brilliance against a team on the verge of European glory;
