That means a lot to me.
Thanks.

Left school in July '69.

I was mad in those days. One time, left school at 4:00, bus straight into the city centre. Train from Lime Street to see us play Man City in the 6th Round, second replay at Molyneux in '66. Stood in the Everton end in full school uniform and satchel on my back. Won 2-0. Football special back to Lime Street. Got home about 3 a.m. the next morning and was up for school at 7:30 to catch the first of two buses at 8:00! Happy days as a 15 year-old!

I was fortunate enough to see Everton win the League and the FA Cup before my 16th birthday...

...love it, thanks for recalling those memories. I saw some games in the 63 season but the memories are vague because I was only 6. My folks took me to Wembley in '66 but left me with an uncle in Croydon whilst they went the game. I can never understand why they didn't get me a ticket but I did go in '68. 69/70 was everything and at 13 I could truly appreciate it.

Been very fortunate really, the mid80s timing was great but Mrs Eggs always reminds me that I left for the Rotterdam cup final when our first born was 2 days old and didn't come back until the Sunday after the FA Cup Final!!!
