Best Everton squad you've seen play

My old fella would include Alex Stevenson and he would have Dixie and Tommy Lawton up front.. I reckon he's got the best forward line! He also rated Cook (right back), TG Jones would be at centre-back with Labby. He's not too well at the moment so I won't trouble him with the full team!

Hope he gets well soon mate

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Lescott Baines
McCarthy Arteta
Mirallas Cahill Pienaar
Yakubu

Subs: Martyn, Yobo, Distin, Barry, Barkley, Deulofeu, Lukaku,

Hope he gets well soon mate
Thanks, really appreciate that. He's really not good - hoping to wake him around 2.45 today and that the Mighty Blues will make him feel a lot better. 84 years old and 77 years of memories.. I'm writing something about our relationship (and no doubt I'll have to include Everton in it) to keep a log of things.. COYB

following since '89...by the gods this kicks assbutt on ISS Pro:

Southall

Ratcliffe (c)
Jags
Seamus
Baines

Gravesen
Arteta
Beardsley
Sheedy

Cahill
Cottee

Was massively tempted to go with our 17-year old Rooney, but over a full season a prime Cahill will contribute more. Very promising to have 3 current players in there (all from the back-four too). Beardsley has the free-roaming role, so can come inside-forward when he feels like it. Seamus/Baines with licence to attack and our two crabs keeping watch of the centre, with a prime Arteta menacing forward when the swing is in our favour and Tommy generally staying further back to anchor any possible break from the opposing side. Sheeds & Baines to alternate dead balls. Ratcliffe to sometimes hover outside the box to blast in loose balls from our corners. Jags generally stays back.

Cottee to slot, slot, slot. Big Nev to save, save, save.

Proper attacking this!
