Player Valuation: £950k
My most unlucky bet was at Wimbledon 2005 when I got 27 out of 28 right in the first round at Wimbledon. The loser was Karlovic, who had beaten Hewitt previously at Wimbledon, but lost to an Italian called Bracciali. I would have won £100k (max winnings) from £10.

To make matters worse, it was the 28th match to finish, and to make matters even worse, he was 7-6 up in the final set (no tie break in the final set at Wimbledon though and I think he lost 9-7 in the end). So I thought I'd won. I will forever be skint now. What a [Poor language removed] that was.

My favourite/best bet was when I bet on China to beat France at ridiculous odds of like 18 or 20/1, They scored a fluky free-kick within moments of me placing the bet in the second-half, and somehow held on despite being utter ****e. Prob some sort of fix considering the ridiculous odds.

Betting on Goran Ivanisevic to win Wimbledon in I think 2001, was also one of my favourite and best bets. I bet on him in most rounds, and he was losing to Henman overnight 2 sets to 1, and so that stands out.

I haven't won a bet for ages!

I once bet on the lottery but that bet didn't quite come off. I did win a tenner with that bet though.

I can't really think of any other bets.

Actually I got 5 out of 6 on a Scoop6 bet once, about as close as I ever got.

won £40 from a 50p bet today :) good times haha, if only i had put more on, shame cos didnt actually think it would happen!

very nice indeed! just stuck a fiver on us to finish top 4 next season... i can hope eh?

stuck a tenner on spain to win the euros too...

I put a tenner EW on us to win the league last year, oh those heady days of 'the best squad I've ever assembled'...I had it all planned..lounge membership with my winnings, the lot...then we played Blackburn....

Best: Everton 3-3 ManU for i think an euro or two.
Worst: any other everton related bet i've made. I'm pretty sure I put 50e for us winning the cup and winning the league each last summer. I hope we sign a decent player and don't lose too many so I can hype it up to make those bets again.
Unluckiest: Weymouth 0 - 9 Rushden & Diamonds (put a tenner or so in with odds in the hundreds after hearing the first team for Weymouth had been released, 0-6 was the highestest available score option :(

Best; Arteta first scorer and Everton 3-0 against Bolton 3 years ago. Jo's debut, and at 2-0 Cahill missed an absolute sitter. Then with 30 seconds left, Jo runs onto a nothing ball and crosses it in only to hit Emerson Boyce's hand, PENALTY. I told myself I'd love Jo forever if he scored it. He scored, so I went mental, but I don't.

Worst; Barca v Arsenal a few years back I had Ibrahimovic first scorer and 4-1 Barca, he scored first and it ended 3-1 after puyol got sent off and Barca just defended the rest of the game. Gutted.

I done a 17 team accumulator a few years ago for a laugh only put £1 on it, 16 of them won and stoke let me down for £22,000. And that is the reason i hate stoke.

We beat Charlton 3-1 around Christmas 2006. I had 3-1, Beattie first scorer, Cahill last...It all came off...Cahill scored a perfectly good goal which was disallowed which would of made it 4-1, I was the only lid in the home end cheering that! Walked away with about £150 quid there.

Other honourable mentions:

Sol Campbell first goalscorer in Champs League final a few years ago - bagged me about £60
Uncle Woy's West Brom beating le ****e this season bagged me a good £30

Just now - 5.30 at York - took 12/1 on a 25/1 winner (at least it won). Also did a reverse exacta with the 7/2 favourite which got nabbed on the line for 2nd (by a 9/2 shot). So I was £35 up but was very close to being £200 up.

The most I've ever staked on a horse was £140 at 9/2 - Darryl Jacob was riding it - it came in :) Happy Days.
