My most unlucky bet was at Wimbledon 2005 when I got 27 out of 28 right in the first round at Wimbledon. The loser was Karlovic, who had beaten Hewitt previously at Wimbledon, but lost to an Italian called Bracciali. I would have won £100k (max winnings) from £10.
To make matters worse, it was the 28th match to finish, and to make matters even worse, he was 7-6 up in the final set (no tie break in the final set at Wimbledon though and I think he lost 9-7 in the end). So I thought I'd won. I will forever be skint now. What a [Poor language removed] that was.
My favourite/best bet was when I bet on China to beat France at ridiculous odds of like 18 or 20/1, They scored a fluky free-kick within moments of me placing the bet in the second-half, and somehow held on despite being utter ****e. Prob some sort of fix considering the ridiculous odds.
Betting on Goran Ivanisevic to win Wimbledon in I think 2001, was also one of my favourite and best bets. I bet on him in most rounds, and he was losing to Henman overnight 2 sets to 1, and so that stands out.
I haven't won a bet for ages!
