what in your opinion was the best ever 8-bit computer

Gotta be the speccy hasn't it ?

- although not as powerful as some of its competitors it oozed class.....

Easily the speccy. First one I ever got, had it for years before 'upgrading' to a C64 then an Amiga.


It may be nostalgia but they never seemed to have the charm or playability of the spectrum.

The Oric (Tangerine computers Ltd) I had 48k version, only micro I ever had. Good fun at the time but not reliable, ended up in the bin like a lot of other micros.
Should have bought a spectrum, like everyone else.
