So before every game at HOME, Besiktas fans are whipped into a frenzy by one man and one man alone. His name is Alen Markarian and he is a member of the infamous hooligan firm in Turkey called Carsi. He goes on the pitch before the game and basically gets the fans going.

I've been there and its ****ing scary. No wonder British teams don't have a very good record in Turkey.

Love Besiktas - when I lived in Istanbul they were my time and I went to loads games in the League and Champions League. I chose them over the other more popular teams because Daniel Amokachi played for them. Still have my old shirt with Letchkov 6 on the back.
