...there was a moment today when the ball broke to him in a great position on the back post but he failed to pick out a pass. He has such ability and composure, except when in key positions. I love watching him but he can let himself down.

This was what I was referring to earlier.

Brilliant when he came on, really impressed me. Just took the ball on and put their defenders on the back foot.

...sorry, Keiran, I didn’t read previous posts.

Amongst the Bernie love-in, I just hadn’t seen anyone else recognise this particular piece if play. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one who spotted it.

We have the luxury now of proper rotation of Iwobi, siggardson Bernie and Richy, you can even throw Walcott in there as a sub. Keep things fresh and keep the players on their toes, I noticed in the 1st half Iwobi drifted in field picking up some balls in the no 10 position. I’m optimistic regarding our options in this area.

I know he scored twice but MOTM? Really?

Yes, absolutely. Without him today, we lose that. 100%. Defensively he was excellent and the goal at the end was world class.

I thought Siggy had a good game too. And to a lesser extent, Delph was great 1st half but Rico was head and shoulders above the lot (and Boly too!)

Loving him not throwing a strop as soon as he gets taken out of the team.

Him Richarlison and Gomes needed a break from being ‘over hyped’

Genuine competition for places and nearing our best squad for years - ability wise and desire wise.

Just hope we can do something with it
