I’d have to disagree with you. Think a lot of what he tries doesn’t come off.

I’ll offer an unpopular opinion but I haven’t really rated Bernard since he has started playing regularly

I am with you but I wouldn't say I don't rate him but I am not seeing this amazing player yet. There are some tricks now and again but his end product has been woeful. I just don't feel confident that anything is going to be created when he has the ball at his feet.

Yet he's created the most chances from open play barring David Silva this season so far..

With Sigurdsson needing a rest I would start him in the number 10 position against Watford where he can get on the ball and hurt teams. I accept we will lose some physicality in midfield but we should have more of the ball so it should be a out what we can do in an attacking sense.

I’d try a midfield 3 of Gomes , Siggy and Bernard in home games against weaker opposition
Lookman and Walcott on the wings with Ricarlison up front
Gomes and Siggy both put t the hard yards in so Gana wouldn’t be missed too much and Bernard May give us a bit of creativity in and around the box
It may fail spectacularly but worth a try

Definitely worth a try. Gomes would manage the number 6 job that's for sure and against bottom half at home we should have more if the ball so Gueye main job of winning the ball less needed. Also an extra player with a dangerous pass in him makes us harder to park the bus against.

When Gylfi went off we had zero creativity around the box, like, even with Bernard central for a spell.
